On Monday June 26 and Tuesday June 27, 2017, Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County will be collaborating with over 70 youth ministry leaders from over five different states, as part of their inspiring week of serving, learning, worship and fellowship. The Lott Carey International Youth Ministry has chosen HFHWC as one of their outreach opportunities to serve the community, explore new opportunities for leadership, and respond to God’s call in their lives.
Youth Group members will have the opportunity to serve Habitat by working various jobs at three different locations; 304 Martin Street, 601 Dawn Court, and the Habitat ReStore. Volunteers will be landscaping, painting, power-washing houses, helping with community clean up, and building picnic tables, which will be gifted to future Habitat homeowners.
Theresa Gannaway is the Mission Outreach Team Leader, for the 63rd
Annual Youth Seminar. If you would like more information on this amazing organization, please go to www.lottcarey.org
